Tonto National Forest-Volunteers

Adopt-a-Site

Friends of the Tonto

There is a need for groups of volunteers to help maintain Recreational Sites along the Salt River Recreational Area in the Tonto NF.  With the increase in adjacent population and more individuals active in the lake and river areas in the Forest, there is more impact on the habitat.  Through the Adopt-A-Site program, groups can assist the Forest Service in cleaning and maintaining established recreational sites along the Salt River, including those along Canyon and Saguaro lakes.

Groups, Clubs, Corporations

If you are a member of a group, please contact us so we can explore the ways your organization can partner with the Forest Service to make a difference.  Members of Hiking Groups, Equestrian Groups,  Boating Groups, Biking Groups and Corporations all will have an interest in the recognition and satisfaction gained from the Adopt-a-Site program.
