Joining the Board
Consider taking an active role in the Friends! Join like-minded people who enjoy doing impactful projects in the Tonto National Forest. Elections are held in the fall, and Board members serve 2 year terms. Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month at 6 PM via Zoom. We also welcome those who would like to be active as committee chairs and members. FOTNF’s committees focus on Communications, Cultural Resources, Education/Outreach, Finance, Membership/Volunteer Recruitment, and Natural Resources.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming involved at the Board or Committee level, a good first step is to attend a board meeting to learn more about our work and meet everyone involved. Email pfenner@friendsofthetonto.org for an invitation to attend a meeting, or with any questions you may have.
Project Proposal
Do you have a great idea about how to assist the Tonto National Forest? We welcome suggestions for new projects. Fill out the Project Proposal Form and a board member will contact you to discuss your ideas.
